<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based ballpoint pen which is free from bubbles occurring in ink with lapse of time, any obstruction in the flow of the ink and a blur during writing. <P>SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing the water-based ballpoint pen includes steps of filling ink consisting of at least a coloring agent, a water-soluble organic solvent, a reducing substance, and water in an ink storage tube having a member for rotatably holding a ball attached to one of its ends, filling a backflow preventive agent in the other end of the tube, and then centrifuging under a reduced pressure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
