<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an appropriate method for easily and fairly ranking patent strategy evaluations by objectively grasping the evaluations in both quantity and quality. <P>SOLUTION: Patents can correctly be grasped in both quantity and quality by weighting patents registered overseas as a primary status and patents registered at home as a secondary status in the case of evaluating the patents on the basis of the number of applications corresponding to the scale of a company, etc., and the ratio of registered patents of the year to relevant applied patents.
