PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optical device keeping the brightness of light emitting material without worsening the light emitting property while restraining elution of metal ion from anode due to PEDOT:PSS, capable of elongating the life of the electro-optical device, restraining the generation of dark spot and the corrosion of an ink flow passage of an ink-jet device, reducing the manufacturing cost, and to provide a manufacturing method of the same and an electronic device equipped with the electro-optical device. SOLUTION: In the electro-optical device comprising a light emitting layer 60 and a hole implanting layer 70 interposed between a pair of electrodes 23, 50, an alkaline agent is added to the strong acidic hole implanting material forming a hole implanting layer 70.
