PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding label capable of indicating a large quantity of notes and texts in a narrow space, and to provide an indication method using the same. SOLUTION: The folding label 10 comprises a belt-like lower side base material 11 made of synthetic paper having large stiffness, an indication base material 12 of which one end is non-separably bonded to the lower base material 11, and folded, an extension-and deformation resistant belt-like surface material 13 of which the same edge side as the indication base material is non-separably bonded to each other and the other edge side is directly bonded to the lower base material without the indication base material, an adhesive layer 15 arranged on the rear side face of the lower base material 11, a belt-like peelable sheet 16 for protecting the adhesive layer 15, and perforations 14 prepared for tearing off the surface base material 13 from the lower base material 11.
