PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high strength steel sheet which exhibits excellent bending properties (bending workability and adhesion bending workability) in high strength and ultrahigh strength regions in a class of 600 to 1,400 MPa, and is optimal as an automobile steel sheet. SOLUTION: The steel sheet mainly has a structure comprising 3 to 30 area% retained austenite and≥50 area% ferrite.
