PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterile chamber for an aseptic packaging apparatus, reduced in consumption of a germicide and improved in gas replacement efficiency. SOLUTION: The sterile chamber M consists of a flat rectangular parallelopiped cup receptacle storage section 33 made of a top plate 30, both side plates 31 and 31, and a base plate 32 having the longitudinally opened center part, having a cross section approximately similar to that of a cup receptacle 2 and slightly larger area than a cross sectional area of the receptacle 2, and a cup magazine 35 formed to extend in the longitudinal direction of the sterile chamber M to protrude below an opening 34 of the opened base plate 32 with a cross section approximately similar to that of a cup 1 and having a slightly larger area than the cross sectional area of the cup 1. Thus the sterile chamber M consists of the cup receptacle storage section 33 having the cross section similar to that of the cup receptacle 2 and the cup magazine 35 having the cross section similar to that of the cup 1.
