PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base material covered with a coating material having excellent heat resistance, moisture resistance, chemical resistance and transparency and excellent adhesion, adhesive properties and destruction characteristics and to provide a laminated material obtained by laminating them. SOLUTION: The base material contains a specific cyclic olefin addition polymer containing a structural unit derived from a cyclic olefin obtained by addition polymerizing a tricycloolefin compound having an endo structure and a structural unit derived from a cyclic olefin having a hydrolyzable silyl group or an ester group, and, as needed, a crosslinking agent and, in addition, a filler.
