<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-forming colored composition having a good hue and being capable of forming a highly fast image under various use conditions and various environmental conditions, to provide an inkjet recording ink and an inkjet recording method, and to provide a thermal recording material, a color toner, and a color filter. <P>SOLUTION: The color-forming colored composition contains an azo dye prepared by using an aromatic six-membered nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring as its coupling component and represented by formula (1). The inkjet recording ink and the inkjet recording method use this composition. The thermal recording material, the color toner, and the color filter are formed from this composition. In formula (1), B<SP>1</SP>and B<SP>2</SP>are each -CR<SP>4</SP>=, -CR<SP>5</SP>=, or the like; R<SP>2</SP>and R<SP>3</SP>are each an aromatic group, a heterocyclic group, or the like; R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>4</SP>, and R<SP>5</SP>are each H, a cyano group, an alkyl group, or the like; G is a substituted amino group or the like; and m is 1-5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
