<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst putting system for a reformer capable of putting a reforming catalyst in a reforming chamber while keeping the open air from entering the chamber and to provide a method for using the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the catalyst putting system for a reformer which puts a reforming catalyst 3c in a reforming chamber 3 packed with a reforming catalyst for gas reforming, a catalyst storage tank 51 connected to the top of the reforming chamber 3 in a communicating state is disposed in such a way that the tank 51 has a catalyst receiving inlet 52 for receiving a catalyst in the tank 51, a gas receiving port 53 for filling the tank 51 with purge gas and a gas discharge port 54 for discharging the gas in the tank 51 accordance as the purge gas is filled, and the catalyst storage tank 51 is provided with a communication blocking means V1 which blocks communication of the tank 51 with the reforming chamber 3, a catalyst receiving inlet opening and closing means V2 which opens and closes the catalyst receiving inlet 52, a gas receiving port opening and closing means V3 which opens and closes the gas receiving port 53 and a gas discharge port opening and closing means V4 which opens and closes the gas discharge port 54. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
