<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polysaccharide complex which has good processibility, can be easily and inexpensively obtained through a simple purification process, and has a uniform structure; of which the carboxy groups or amino groups for forming an ion complex can be controlled; and which is given an aimed performance by an additive and is excellent in biocompatibility and biodegradability; and its production method. <P>SOLUTION: This polysaccharide complex is formed from chitosan and an oxidized polysaccharide prepared by at least introducing a carboxy group or its salt group into the 6-position of a pyranose ring of a polysaccharide by oxidation and contains at least one additive for modification and/or at least one modification additive component for a polysaccharide. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
