<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a visible image with which biological tissues different from each other are clearly distinguished from each other while the subtle sense of colors and opaque feeling between the biological tissues are expressed based on an image data value obtained by tomography by means of a radiation medical diagnostic system. <P>SOLUTION: The value area of obtained CT values is divided into a plurality of small sections A<SB>1</SB>and A<SB>2</SB>by referring to the distribution of the CT values, and an interpolation section B is set in these small sections A<SB>1</SB>and A<SB>2</SB>. Within this interpolation section B, a chromaticity function and an opacity function are set so that chromaticity and opacity corresponding to a CT value may vary continuously, and the chromaticity and opacity corresponding to the CT values of the small sections A<SB>1</SB>and A<SB>2</SB>are decided. The chromaticity and opacity of each of all the space coordinate points positioned on each visual axis combining each plane coordinate point on a two-dimensional plane and a visual point are added with each other by each visual axis, and this added value is reflected to the plane coordinate point on each visual line to generate a visible image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
