<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet-curing composition used as a laminating adhesive for laminating optical disk substrates comprising a translucent film or a reflection coating made of silver or a silver alloy, which controls external discoloration of an optical disk, and to provide the optical disk showing an excellent light fastness/ color fastness whose external discoloration is inhibited, even after its exposure to severe environmental conditions such as sunlight, by using the ultraviolet-curing composition. <P>SOLUTION: The ultraviolet-curing composition used as the laminating adhesive contains 0.01-5 mass% thioether compound of the formula: S-(CH<SB>2</SB>-CH<SB>2</SB>-COO-R<SB>1</SB>)<SB>2</SB>(wherein S, C, H and O are sulfur, carbon, hydrogen and oxygen atoms, respectively; and R<SB>1</SB>is an alkyl group) based on the composition.
