<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet standby device adaptable to various post-processors such as an offset catch tray while suppressing the cost of a sheet post-processor, and also, maintaining the high productivity of an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: As for the sheet standby device arranged between the image forming apparatus and the sheet post-processor and equipped with a sheet standby part for making a plurality of sheets discharged from the image forming apparatus stand by, the sheet standby device is arranged between the image forming apparatus and the sheet post-processor so that the sheet standby device can be separately and independently attached/detached to/from the apparatus and the processor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
