PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interface which can be easily and intuitively operated.

SOLUTION: Nine display panels 11-1 to 11-9 are connected circularly and arranged in a band 12. Display panels 11-1 to 11-9 are slid or depressed based on user's operation. Display of display panels at unseeable locations among the display panels 11-1 to 11-9 are changed when display panels 11-1 to 11-9 are slid. When one display panel out of the display panels 11-1 to 11-9 is operated, information of the lower hierarchies of the information currently displayed in the display panel concerned are displayed on each of display panels 11-1 to 11-9. This can also be applied to a PDA (personal digital assistant).
