CONTROLLING DEVICE FOR STORAGE SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To charge a regenerative energy acquired at braking a drive motor to maximum within a range meeting a required braking/driving force for a vehicle. SOLUTION: Two storage devices (6 and 8) supply power to a drive motor (3) for vehicle travel. A controller (20) calculates a regenerative energy acquired at braking the drive motor (3), and calculates an input/output power of a storage system required for realizing a required braking/driving force for the vehicle. The distribution ratio of regenerative energy to the storage devices (6 and 8) is so set that the chargeable regenerative energy is maximum within a range to meet the input/output power.
