PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a webpage display device having a display means for obtaining and displaying images of webpages, a script for changing links for the images, and its processing means, to efficiently execute the processes of transferring the data of and displaying the webpages; a method of displaying webpages; a network system; and a terminal device. SOLUTION: When either of the image switch buttons displayed in a display device 24 through an initial screen display process is operated, an arithmetic unit 21 provided in the terminal device 20 executes the process of changing the display of images to links according to the script (SC) so that the images being displayed are changed into images pertaining to the links.
