OPTICAL DRIVING UNIT, OPTICAL APPARATUS, AND CAMERA SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical driving unit which is equipped with a function for moving an optical adjustment member to a stored position by servo-driving and doesn't allow the optical adjustment member to move against the operator's intent after manual driving during operation of the function. SOLUTION: An optical driving unit includes a driving mechanism which allows servo-driving and manual driving of the optical adjustment member and allows manual driving of the optical adjustment member during servo-driving without requiring a switching operation. The optical driving unit also includes a storage circuit which stores at least one driving position of the optical adjustment member and a control circuit which performs preset driving control of servo-driving the optical adjustment member to the driving position stored in the storage circuit. The control circuit aborts the preset driving control when manual driving of the optical adjustment member is detected during the preset driving control. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
