PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door locking device with a simple constitution capable of performing a double lock function to have such a function that a sliding door can not be moved (opened) wider than an extent when the sliding door is in a slightly opened state for ventilation or the like. SOLUTION: The sliding door locking device 10 equipped with a rising and falling piece 12 undulatingly pivoting a base section on one end of a base plate 11 through a spiral spring 15 and a holding piece 13 maintaining a state when one end is pivoted on the other end of the rising and falling piece 12 to keep the rising and falling piece 12 in a standing state and used by fixing the base plate 11 to a door-frame of the sliding door is so constituted that the rising and falling piece 12 and the holding piece 13 can be undulated in the same direction and that two sets of lock units 10A and 10B are kept in a connecting state at a required interval to enable it to fix to the door-frame of the sliding door.
