PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer having good copolymerizing properties, that is, an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer characterized by a broad molecular weight distribution, slight elution of the polymer into a polymerization solvent, a high bulk density of the obtained polymer, and the like. SOLUTION: Ethylene and anα-olefin are copolymerized in the presence of a catalyst comprising a transition metal compound and an organometallic compound and in the presence of a component (A) comprising a solid catalyst containing magnesium, titanium and chlorine, a component (B) comprising an organoaluminum compound and a component (C) comprising a specific conjugated diene.
