<p>The invention relates to a rotary transformer for rotor-excited machines, particularly synchronous generators for motor vehicles. Said transformer comprises a primary element (14) with a primary nucleus (17) made of a magnetic conductive material and a primary winding (18) in addition to a coaxial secondary element (15) which is rotationable in relation to the primary element. Said secondary element is made of a magnetic conductive material and has a secondary winding (21). The aim of the invention is to produce with a structure which has a reduced diameter and which controls the radial forces generated on the rotating secondary core (20). The primary and secondary elements (14, 15) are arranged next to each other in the axial direction thereof and the primary and secondary cores (17, 20) comprise plane front surfaces (171, 201) which are orientated towards each other and which comprise an axial working air gap (23) between them.</p> |
