Software regulation of gas pressure control valve in container or reactor uses dead band added to reference limits

The space above the liquid in a container or reactor is filled with a gas and the pressure is regulated within safe limits. The valve used is controlled by a software routine based upon defined upper and lower dead bands that can be individually adjusted. The valve opens or closes dependent upon a reference plus or minus a dead band that relates to rising or falling pressure conditions.
