The method involves sensing at least two of the traveling speed of the vehicle (and producing a resulting engine speed signal), the brake application condition (and generation of a brake pressure signal), the brake application duration (and generating a corresponding signal), the inclined state of the vehicle (and generating a corresponding signal) and receiving and converting two signals into a brake overheating signal. AN Independent claim is also included for the following: (a) a vehicle with a brake overheating warning arrangement.
