<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressing method of a humidity-sensitive organic material suitably applied in manufacturing an organic layer on a structure as a part of an organic light-emitting device. <P>SOLUTION: In this compressing method of a humidity-sensitive organic material suitably applied in manufacturing the organic layer on the structure as a part of the organic light-emitting device, the powdered drying agent is placed in a die cavity, the pressure sufficient to compress the drying agent powder in the die cavity is applied to the drying agent powder in the die cavity to prepare a porous drying agent bed, the powdered humidity-sensitive organic material is prepared and placed on the porous drying agent bed in the die cavity, then the heat sufficient to dehumidify the humidity-sensitive organic material in the die cavity to wick moisture from the humidity-sensitive organic material and to allow the porous drying agent bed to absorb the moisture, is applied to the humidity-sensitive organic material in the die cavity, and then the pressure sufficient to compress the humidity-sensitive organic material to be a solid organic pellet, is added. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
