STREAMING DISTRIBUTION METHOD, STREAMING DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM AND ITS DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to receive streaming distribution from a previous viewing position when the user views contents by streaming in an IP network such as the Internet.

SOLUTION: Contents reproduction position information for reproducing contents from a most appropriate position is notified to a user terminal by determining a viewing request whether it is a new request to view the contents or whether it is a request to view previously viewed contents from the halfway, when the viewing request of the contents by the streaming is received from the user terminal on a server side. The user terminal receives the streaming distribution from an arbitrary position of the contents by the notified content reproduction position information.
