<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that an effect of an article for special sale (how much it attracts the purchasing of other commodities and how much it is contributed to sales of a whole store) cannot sufficiently be grasped only by the eyes and experimental knowledge. <P>SOLUTION: An analysis server reads analysis target period POS data, sums up whole customers with one receipt as one customer and sums up amounts of the receipts (S20). The special sales index of the article for special sale in the analysis target period is analyzed on the basis of information on the article for special sale and POS data(S30).
