DISTORTION COMPENSATION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a convergence time required for an adaptive operation for following up characteristic fluctuation of a power amplifier by reducing the number of times of updating a coefficient in an adaptive distortion compensation apparatus which operates to minimize a power out of a modulated signal band.

SOLUTION: A coefficient calculation part 121 for calculating the inverse of input/output characteristics of a power amplifier 113 is composed of a fixed coefficient storage part 104 and an error coefficient calculation part 105, the fixed coefficient storage part 104 stores the inverse of the input/output characteristics calculated in advance, and the error coefficient calculation part 105 calculates an error coefficient between the characteristics stored in the fixed coefficient storage part 104 and characteristics of the power amplifier 113 at present.
