<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image receiving material wherein an image formed on a heat transfer material by irradiation of a laser and heating is transferred to an image receiving layer, a transfer property when the transferred image is transferred again to main paper is excellent, a retransferred image of a high resolving power can be given, a sliding property is improved and an accumulated property is increased; and to provide a multi-colored image forming method using the image receiving material having this excellent performance. <P>SOLUTION: At least a cushioning layer and an image receiving layer are provided on a substrate. The image receiving layer contains a polyvinyl butyral resin. An elastic modulus at 25°C of the cushioning layer is ≥10 MPa, and a glass transition temperature of the cushioning layer is ≤40°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
