<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily switch an image processing mode for every original job without using any job separator sheet or the number of pages in a reading original by executing the image processing of an original constituted of a plurality of original jobs in a batch. <P>SOLUTION: At the time of setting originals constituted of a plurality of original jobs on an original placing stand in a batch (S1), the corner parts of the leading page of each original job are folded back in prescribed shapes.
