FLAT CABLE, FLAT CABLE CONNECTOR AND CABLE UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to connect a flat cable 1 to a flat cable connector 10 without mistaking an inside and an outside and to make the flat cable 1 hard to be broken.

SOLUTION: The flat cable 1 and the flat cable connector 10 to which the flat cable 1 is connected are constructed as follows. A cut-out part 6 which is cut out from the top end part toward the side part is formed at one end in a lateral direction of the top end part of the flat cable 1. A protrusion 16 is provided at one end part of the flat cable connector in a lateral direction of the inner end portion that faces the top end portion of the flat cable 1 when the flat cable 1 on the inner side is inserted.
