<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a noise-shielding performance of a connector with a movable contact alignment member. <P>SOLUTION: A plug connector 10 is provided with a housing 4 holding contacts 8, 9, an alignment member 34 and a shield member 28. Tines 8a of the contacts 8 are exposed to a space 32 between the underside of the housing 4 and the alignment member 34.
