METHOD FOR DETERMINING POSTTRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for diagnosing and easily determining a type of a posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). SOLUTION: In the method for determining the type of the posttraumatic stress disorder, a concentration or a total amount of chromogranins A in a salvia of an experimentee is measured preferably more than once in thirty minutes before the stress and preferably more than twice in thirty minutes after the stress. The method for diagnosing the posttraumatic stress disorder based on the increase in the concentration or the total amount and changes in the concentration or the total amount are classified into (1) After the stress, a minimum value for the concentration or the total amount of the chromogranins A is observed, (2) a type in which a maximum value of the concentration or the total amount of the chromogranins A after the stress is observed, and (3) a monotone increase of the concentration or the total amount of chromogranins A after the stress is observed.
