PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyamide fiber for clothing, having good moisture absorbing/desorbing properties, opacity, cool feeling when touched, yellowing resistance, and color fastness to washing, and given with good productivity. SOLUTION: This moisture absorbing/desorbing polyamide fiber contains titanium dioxide in an amount of 1-7 wt% and polyvinylpyrrolidone in an amount of 3-15 wt%. The moisture absorbing/desorbing polyamide fiber comprises a polyamide fiber composed of polycaprolactam in an amount of 15-30 wt% and polyhexamethylene adipamide in an amount of 60-85 wt%, wherein the polyvinylpyrrolidone in an amount of 3-10 pts.wt. is contained in the the polyamide fiber in an amount of 100 pts.wt.
