PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrying device capable of smoothly transferring work fed in a longitudinal line to a parallel carrying means. SOLUTION: In order to separately dispose the work 1 in a parallel direction, a separately carrying means 50 is disposed above the parallel carrying means 60. Above the separately carrying means 50, a stopper member 52 on which the work 1 fed in the longitudinal line abuts is provided. Under the stopper member 52, a guide member 54 tilting toward a downstream side of the separately carrying means 50 is provided, thereby enabling placing the work 1 on the separately carrying means 50 in a fixed position. At a transferring portion of the work 1 from the separately carrying means 50 to the parallel carrying means 60, a gate member 56 opening/closing like as a shop curtain is provided, thereby enabling placing the work 1 on the parallel carrying means 60 in the fixed position.
