PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending method and a bending device for easily and rapidly drawing out a box-bent product after completing the box-bent product using a lugged upper die. SOLUTION: The bending method comprises (1) a step of elevating a ram 1 with a lugged upper die P fitted thereto after completing a box-bent product by the lugged upper die P and a lower die D, and keeping the box-bent product in a horizontal direction, (2) a step of retracting strikers 3 and 4 to position the box-bent product, (3) a step of turning the box-bent product, and (4) a step of drawing the box-bent product from the lugged upper die P after further elevating the ram 1.
