<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently detect a space between specific marks during image reading. <P>SOLUTION: In this image processing device, a mark detecting means scans sequentially input image data to detect a specific mark, and a space detecting means detects a space among a plurality of detected specific marks. A converting means converts a predetermined value into a natural number fold of n-th power of 2, and a comparing means compares the space detected by the space detecting means with a setup value converted by the converting means and discriminates whether it is a specified value or its natural number fold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
