<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device for performing good power transmission with no dispersion of a driving load and no unusual sounds even after joint between a first unit and a second unit. <P>SOLUTION: A power transmitting belt 4 is carried over a driving pulley 25 of the first unit 20 and a driven pulley 35 of the second unit 30 in a sagging state. A tension pulley 5 is supported to be displaceable between a direction C of granting tension to the belt 4 and a direction D of allowing a change in the attitude of the carried belt 4 due to the fluctuation of both pulleys 25, 35 at their axes. The tension pulley 5 is supported to be displaceable by a guide supporting member 6 and elastically energized to the direction C of granting tension thereto by a coil spring. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
