<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exercise assisting tool which can be put on and taken off easily, does not become misaligned during intense movement, reinforces a fixation for treating sprain of the ankle or a pulled calf muscle to prevent recurrence during exercise and to facilitate early coming back to competitions, can prevent falling or stumble of a person having talipes equinus due to a cerebrovascular disease or a sicatic nerve disorder and assists participation to an exercise, and can also improve athletic abilities such as jumping capability or smooth weight shift during stepping. <P>SOLUTION: The exercise assisting tool has a shin pad (2) made of a combination of a resistant material such as a plastic and a contact buffer material such as sponge urethane. The shin pad works as a starting point of tensile force and is equipped and fixed on the lower leg by mounting on a supporter (1) or being wound by an attachment belt (4). The shin pad and an elastic band, or the like, are connected by a connecting tool (3), or the like, to form a connected body (4).
