<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible electromagnetic wave absorber where an execution property is superior since the electromagnetic wave absorber is formed in a film shape and a dead space for installation is small since the electromagnetic wave absorber is extremely thin. <P>SOLUTION: The film type electromagnetic wave absorber is a film-like dielectric 4 where a conductive element 2 and a conductive film 5 are provided on one surface and the other, respectively. In the electromagnetic wave absorber, absorption occurs when the electromagnetic wave at a frequency to be interrupted enters the surface where the conductive element 2 is provided. When an electromagnetic wave at a frequency to be absorbed enters the surface where the conductive element 2 is provided, the imaginary section of an equivalent complex impedance on the surface where the conductive element 2 is provided becomes negative. When the surface where the conductive element 2 is provided is substituted for the equivalent circuit of the electromagnetic wave absorber based on a transmission line theory as a fixed constant element having a complex impedance, the reflection coefficient of power on the surface is 0.3 or less at the frequency to be absorbed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
