<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer a file protected by a password while keeping high security in transferring the file on a network. <P>SOLUTION: In an information processing system composed by mutually connecting transmission side equipment 10 to be the transmission origin of the file protected by the password and reception side equipment 20 to be the reception end of the file through the network 30, prior to the transmission and reception of the file between the transmission side equipment 10 and the reception side equipment 20, enciphering is performed to the password of the file by using a value uniquely determined inside the information processing system for the reception side equipment 20 as an enciphering key. Then, in transferring the file, only the enciphered password is exchanged on the network 30 in addition to the file and the enciphering key is not exchanged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
