PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inkjet recorder in which waste ink can be absorbed by an absorbing material with high efficiency. SOLUTION: In a waste ink reservoir 1 equipped with a waste ink receptacle 2 for containing waste ink being introduced from an ink head through a waste ink tube 10, a flocculant/precipitant 4 for separating the waste ink into a liquid part and a solid part by aggregating and solidifying the solid part in the waste ink is contained in the waste ink receptacle 2, the solid part precipitated while being aggregated and solidified by the flocculant/precipitant 4 is held at a solid holding part 2B, and then the liquid part (supernatant) separated by the flocculant/precipitant 4 is absorbed by a waste ink absorbing material 3 at a liquid holding part 2A.
