PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a name displayable telephone set capable of registering caller's telephone numbers and caller's names in a telephone directory without requiring any troublesome operation. SOLUTION: This name displayable telephone set is provided with: a storage means for storing caller's telephone number display data showing the telephone numbers of callers transmitted from a calling side telephone set with calling signals and caller's name display data showing the caller's names in an incoming history memory M2; and a telephone directory registeration means for registering the caller's telephone numbers and caller's names in a telephone directory memory M1 based on the caller's telephone number display data and the caller's name display data stored in the incoming history memory M2 by the storage means.
