VIEWING TERMINAL IN VIDEO TRANSMISSION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal with which a user can view a video or the like transmitted by a video transmission system. SOLUTION: The video transmission system is provided with a distribution terminal 30 and a viewing terminal 40, wherein the terminal 30 compose a plurality items of digital image data to form composite digital video data, carriers in a single channel of analog CATV are modulated by the composite digital video data to form modulated carriers, and the modulated carriers are transmitted from the distribution terminal 30 to the viewing terminal 40 via a CATV network 50. This viewing terminal 40 has a receiving unit 11 for selectively receiving the modulated carriers; a demodulating unit 12 for demodulating composite digital video data from the modulated carriers which are selectively received; a dividing unit 12 for dividing the composite digital video data into a plurality items of digital video data; and a PC 20 for decoding each of the plurality of digital video data and displaying them.
