PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal device for easily confirming from outside the completion of connection of an electric wire, and also for easily disconnecting the already connected electric wire with no special tool. SOLUTION: When an electric wire 4 is press-inserted in a device body 3 from an electric wire insert hole 33, it presses a pressurizing part 11b of a presser leaf spring 11a of a presser spring part 11 outward to deflect the presser leaf spring 11a while advancing to the depth of a quick-connection terminal part 1. The tip of a core wire 4a soon hits a press receiving body 23 of a display/electric wire release mechanism 2 to apply an upward force to the press receiving body 23. The upward force applied on the press receiving body 23 rotates a lever 21 so that its tip moves from the bottom position of a thin square hole 30 to the top position. At the same time, the pressurizing of a locking leaf spring 10b by a terminal pressurizing body 22 is released and the locking leaf spring 10b locks the core wire 4a of the electric wire 4.
