PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging lens of which the various aberrations are well corrected, the optical length is≤6 mm and the back focus is satisfactorily assured. SOLUTION: The imaging lens is arrayed, successively from an object side, with an aperture-stop S1, a first lens L1 having positive refracting power of a meniscus shape of the concave surface directed to the object side, a second stop S2, and a second lens L2 having negative refracting power of a meniscus shape of the concave surface directed to an image side. The aperture-stop S1 constitutes an incident surface. Also, the second stop S2 disposed between the first lens L1 and the second lens L2 is inserted for the purpose of cutting the light irregularly reflected by falling onto the portion etc., of the peripheral edge of the lens, i.e. a flare.
