PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging lens which is constituted of two lenses, is inexpensive, miniaturized and made short though is as bright as about 2.5 to 2.8 in a F value, and used for a camera for a high-performance CCD or CMOS, a monitor and a TV or the like. SOLUTION: The imaging lens is constituted of a 1st lens having positive refractive power and consisting of one lens having at least one aspherical surface, and a 2nd lens having negative refractive power and consisting of one lens in order from an object side to an image surface side, and constituted to satisfy following conditions. The condition: (1) 0.58<f<SB>1</SB>/f<0.69; the condition: (2) 0.16<d<SB>3</SB>/f<0.27; wherein f: the synthetic focal distance of an entire lens system, f<SB>1</SB>: the focal distance of the 1st lens, and d<SB>3</SB>: space between the 1st lens and the 2nd lens.
