PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charged coal level measurer which can improve the safety of a worker, even when reluctantly manually measuring the level of charged coal. SOLUTION: This charged coal level measurer for measuring the accumulation level of coal charged in the carbonization chamber of a coke oven is characterized by comprising a movable carriage 1, a winder 8 disposed on the carriage, a coal charging port upper guide 9 disposed at a site which is horizontally separated from the winder on the carriage and can be placed above the coal-charging port by the position adjustment of the carriage, and a measurement chain 10 whose one end is wound on the winder and whose other end has a weight 10a and can be inserted into the coal-charging port from the coal charging port upper guide 9.
