PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saw blade having a long serviceable life and preventing the formation of an undercut right under a cemented carbide abrasion resistant coating layer stuck and formed in the outer circumferential part of a base plate which includes a brazing part right under segments. SOLUTION: This saw blade is formed of a plurality of segments 1 brazed or welded to the outer circumferential part 44 of the base plate 3 and including granular cemented carbide body 1a, and the cemented carbide abrasion resistant coating layer 10 stuck and formed to have no level difference from the base plate 3 in the both sides 9 of the outer circumferential part 6 of the brazed or welded part 2 of the segments 1. The abrasion resistant coating layer 10 is stuck and formed to have no level difference from the base plate 3 so that cutting chip produced in cutting is hardly accumulated to prevent the undercut from being formed in the outer circumferential part 4 of the base plate 3 right under the cemented carbide abrasion resistant coating layer 10, thereby elongating the life.
