New pharmaceutical preparations (A) contain (by weight): (a) 5-35% salicylic acid (or its salt or ester) (I), (b) 1-15% citronellal, (c) 10-60% tea tree oil, (d) 10-60% oil of cloves, and (e) 10-60% thyme oil. New pharmaceutical preparations (A) contain (by weight): (a) 5-35 (preferably 10-25)% salicylic acid compound(s) of formula (I), (b) 1-15 (preferably 3-10, especially 4-7)% citronellal, (c) 10-60 (preferably 20-45, especially 25-35)% tea tree oil, (d) 10-60 (preferably 20-45, especially 25-35)% oil of cloves, and (e) 10-60 (preferably 20-45, especially 25-35)% thyme oil.
