METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING POLYSULFONE BASED HOLLOW FIBER MEMBRANE

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing polysulfone based hollow fiber membrane is provided to properly maintain separation and filtration performance of the hollow fiber membrane, prevent the hollow fiber membrane from being damaged and efficiently remove organic solvent remained in the hollow fiber membrane. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing polysulfone based hollow fiber membrane comprises the processes of simultaneously discharging discharge dope and internal coagulant comprising polysulfone based resin, organic solvent and additive into air at a vertical lower side using a double tubular nozzle; sequentially passing the discharged discharge dope and internal coagulant through solidification tank in which outer coagulant is contained and cleaning tank in which cleaning solution is contained so that the discharge dope and internal coagulant are solidified and cleaned; and manufacturing the polysulfone based hollow fiber membrane by drying and winding the solidified and cleaned discharge dope and internal coagulant, wherein supersonic wave irradiating units are mounted on central part of the solidification tank and central part of the cleaning tank respectively to irradiate supersonic waves onto the discharge dope and internal coagulant, and wherein output of the supersonic wave irradiating units inside the solidification tank and the cleaning tank is 200 to 800 W, and irradiation distance thereof is 100 to 300 mm.
