PURPOSE: A hydraulic driving device having a piston stroke distance converting device is provided to remote control the stroke distance of a piston by controlling a signal transmitting passage opening and closing valve for opening and closing a signal transmitting passage by a control unit separated from a body of the hydraulic driving device. CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic driving device having a piston stroke distance converting device for opening and closing signal transmitting passages(16a,17a) to convert the stroke distance of a piston(13) is composed of a control unit for generating a control signal and a signal transmitting passage opening and closing valve(100) mounted to the signal transmitting passage to open and close the signal transmitting passage by the control signal of the control unit. The signal transmitting passage opening and closing valve is connected to a control passage(80) and operated by the flowing of control fluid generated when the control passage is connected to a pump(40) for discharging high-pressure control fluid or connected to a tank(50) for receiving high-pressure control fluid. The control unit installed to the control passage includes a control valve(60) for connecting the control passage to the tank or to the pump by changing the control passage.
